OBJECTIVE OF THE NSTPF

The overarching objective of the National Livestock Theft Prevention Forum (NSTPF) is to form a representative structure of commercial and emerging livestock producers, role players in the security forces, Correctional Services and the National Prosecution Authority, as well as the Department of Agriculture and other role players in the red meat value chain, to form, and in a coordinated manner on the basis of investigation and presentation of findings as well as liaison and negotiation, to pursue optimum results with the prevention and control of livestock theft and related matters. The Forum strives to also maintain the best possible position for livestock producers in order to contribute to security regarding the production of red meat and other livestock products.
